Travers will be taking over for me this week as your supervisor. You are not to misbehave while I am away. You were relatively well behaved this past week; I do not want to hear about any issues during this coming week.

If anyone dreams of becoming ill and missing out on patrols, I will poison you in your sleep. That being said, we will be missing the wedding of whathisname and whatshername. Malfoy already has special permission to attend, because he is the best man. But, and correct me if I am wrong, he has or will be making up that day with another patrol team. I cannot afford to lose any more of my team, so do not expect to attend the wedding. However, we will likely be on standby for any disturbance during the wedding. The enemy is expected to do something. So keep your ears to the ground regarding any potential threats.

My home wasn't attacked, thank Circe, so I am free to go where I am needed. I will head to Nott's until I hear that help is needed elsewhere.

Fuck. A slave. NOW. I'm about to go on patrol, Lux owled and said she'd be returning home this week, and I won't even be home. I haven't seen her in over a year, and she gets home while I'll be gone. FUCK! And to top it off, there will be some strange male in my home that I don't even want. I swear, if he looks at my daughter... he will be dead.
Why? Why couldn't they have at least given me a female slave? Or hell, I don't even need a slave. I know how to keep a house for fuck's sake. But I can't complain. I know what the answer would be. The Dark Lord must have some strange sense of humor. I will not question his motives. But fuck

As you know, I will be out on patrol this week. Well, Lux owled that she's coming home in the middle of the week. I left enough food for you, so all you have to do is make sandwiches until she gets home. She can cook the rest of the time.
Second thing. We have been assigned a slave. I am to pick him up this weekend before patrols begin. Some stupid little boy. Finnegan. Proper Irish name at least, but DO NOT let the boy out of your sight. He was a prisoner of war, and should not be trusted. MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT LET HIM ANYWHERE NEAR OUR DAUGHTER WHEN SHE GETS HERE. If that boy looks at her wrong, I will have his dick. Have I made myself clear??? You are to watch his every fucking move.

I am shocked and appalled at how ungrateful you young people are. Our Lord has given most of you a gift; in fact, He has been more lenient with all of you than the Ministry of Magic ever was. When we lost the previous war, the Ministry of Magic locked up their enemies and threw away the key. They were left to rot in a cell for life with no communication with the outside world.
Our Lord has given you more than we were ever given. You have been given a second chance. You are allowed to marry or work as a slave, where you can still enjoy a relative amount of freedom. Even you lot still in Azkaban have been given a way to talk with people on the outside.
You children would have never survived what we lived through. Count yourselves lucky.
